Our surveys and consultations
Consultation events conducted in 2013 involved 37 people taking part in multi-agency workshops. In November 2014, we reached out to 170 service users, parents, carers and professionals, this is a 350% increase in the level of engagement. The online survey received over 80 responses, and over 200 people were involved in the last round of consultation. The outcome of these consultations can be found here. We will continue to increase the level of engagement in future events.
Following these consultations, Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils in partnership with NHS forth Valley, Service User and Carer representatives and Third Sector Organisations, have developed a ten-year local Autism Strategy and implementation plan. The stratgey aims to improve services for people with autism, their families and carers living in Stirling and Clackmannanshire. The effective development and success of the Strategy is based on the level of support available to people with Autism across the lifespan.
