Autism Forth Valley is a website for people with autism, their parents and carers and autism professionals. It is developed as part of the local Autism Strategy and serves the communities of Stirling, Clackmannanshire and Falkirk. This covers the thorough gathering of information on local services to complement the Menu of Interventions, the clear visual laying out of pathways to access services such as diagnosis and self-directed support and the development of a directory of services listing the resources that are available locally and nationally for people with ASD, for example information on pathways to diagnosis, support in education, transition and employment/volunteering. It also includes information on welfare benefits, Self-Directed Support (SDS), training, respite.
Our strategy partners and the service users and families we have consulted with unanimously selected the name of Autism Forth Valley for the domain website.
The Autism Forth Valley website is linked to CKUK, an external Social Networking site for people with learning difficulties. This site has been developed to support individuals aged 16 and over connect with other like-minded individuals.
These are just a few of the features available. Please take the time to navigate through our pages and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any comments or suggestions.
