Description:

The ASN Outreach Service, based in Raploch Community Campus supports and works in collaboration with children and young people with additional support needs, parents and carers, educational establishments and psychologists, allied health professionals and Stirling partners. The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) team works with schools and families to develop appropriate support for children and young people who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder or related difficulties in primary and secondary schools.

Accessibility Criteria:

Suitable for children and young people with additional support needs: autism spectrum disorder, complex needs - early years, complex needs - primary, early years – support for learning, english, gypsy/traveller, hospital/home teaching, information and communication technology, sensory impairment – hearing and visual and PT support for learning - primary. The child or young person should be on stage 3 or 4 of the staged intervention process and have a diagnosis of sutism spectrum disorder or currently in the process of being diagnosed and there is agreement from a speech and language therapist and educational psychologist that the nature of their additional support needs would benefit from this type of support.
